Update August 2010
It has been awhile since I posted and updated my blog so here I am! It is August 2010 and time has flown by. My girls Teyana, Amariya and Daysha are all doing well. Teyana is now 12, Amariya is 6 1/2 and Daysha is 4 1/2. Teyana is going to enter the 7th grade and is so excited about this! She is feeling pretty grown now that she is officially a Jr. Higher :) Amariya is getting ready to enter the 1st grade, she is also very excited. No big news for my girls so far in 2010 luckily we have had an uneventful start of the year and hoping for things to continue to go smoothly towards the middle and end of the year.

Daysha and her Orange Bikini
It has been awhile...
I have not been on since I created this blog but since I have found it again I will update regularly. The girls are growing so big, Teyana is turning 11 the 30th of June, she is my artist and so very creative. We just had our parent teacher conference and that is what her teacher said, that she is very creative, that her writing is wonderful and her artwork is amazing :) She is the library aid, she does safety patrol and she does violin, she is very active in school.
Amariya is 5 and started preschool, she is just like me, very shy and keeps to herself around adults, but around the kids she is a social butterfly. I see myself in her in so many ways. She is the mother goose and mothers her baby sister Daysha. She brings me so much joy and she is so loving and caring, she tells us she loves us at least 10 times a day. She is very smart as well, she really keeps me and her dad on our toes and reminds us daily that she is a smart girl!
Daysha is 3 and also started preschool, she had not problem adjusting. She gets along with everyone and walks in like she is running the spot. She loves to eat! and her favorite color is orange, she just loves that color. She is my comedian always cracking jokes. Me and her father started this thing with her feet, I call her toes poggins and I always kiss them, so now she is obessed with it! Always putting her feet in are face saying here are my poggins mommy! It is so cute.

Daysha Cori Renee
When I got pregnant with Daysha me and my husband were very excited. We wanted anther baby and were blessed our dream came true. My pregnancy was pretty uneventful. I was due On Janaury 25, 2006. My whole pregnancy I had this funny feeling I would have her early. Sure enough on January 5th, 2006 I started with contractions, they started around 7:30pm and I assumed they were just braxtron hicks. Well sure enough they got stronger. My husband and I started our journey to the hospital. We get there and decide to keep me because they are real contractions and I am in labor. I get the epidural knowing it wont works since my last one did not work and I was half correct. It only numbed half my body. Finally at 7am they broke my water thinking it would still take a few more hours, BUT nope I was fully dialated and she was ready to come, I pushed while in extreme pain and out she came, my little sweet heart a whole three weeks early and weight in at 7 pounds 9 ounces 21 inches long. They were amazed at her size for only being a 37 weeker!
Today she is 19 months old and my sweet baby girl. She has the sweetest demeanor but yet she is strong. She loves her older sisters so much. She truly is a blessing and she has completed our family.

Amariya Chanti Bailey
When I got pregnant with Amariya it was a surprise. But regardless her father and I were very happy. I was a bit nervous being I had only one other kid and it was 6 years prior. I was close to the end of my pregnancy when my doctor decided to strip my membrames. It did nothing, I went back again on Dec 29th and he stripped them again, my due date was January 3rd, 2003. So I get home and it is raining, I go to the store to get water and I am wearing flip flops, I slip and fall right on my knee, it hurt! I get home and at around 2:30pm the contractions start! by 10pm I am in EXTREME PAIN. I get to Kaiser and they check me, I am dialated at 3 so they send me home. I am mad but go home, I am still hurting and getting contractions about 2 minutes apart. I get in the hot bath while my husband goes back to bed, I cannot handle and tell him I am going back and I will call him if I need him to come. I get back to Kaiser barely walking, I mean I had to stop and pull over they were so bad. They check me and I am at 5 so they keep me. My husband shows up as they are "trying" to give me an epidural. Notice I say TRY, yes the epidural did not work so I was in for a huge amount of pain! It felt like hours of agony but finally at around 4:06am I push my angel out. As soon as she slid out the pain stopped. She was so cute, once again I was in love with yet anther miracle. Her name means Gift from God in swahili and that she was.
Amariya is now going to be 4 on December 30th. She is my love bug. So cuddly and loving and always tells us she loves us. She truly is a wonderful soul. She also can be a little OCD we call it. She is very picky about things and insists on having the same stuff over and over again!

Teyana Shyanne Yarbrough
When I got pregnant with Teyana, I was filled with many emotions. The two I can clearly remember were Happy & Scared. Her father and I had been dating for around 4 years when I became pregnant. He was also happy. My due date was July 16, 1998. The day I went into labor I had went to bed with a terrible headache. I got up around 2am on June 30th and my water broke. I got her father up and told him we must go to the hospital. We got there and they checked me, I had not dilated at all so they sent me home. My doctor called me and I went back in around 8am. They started pitocin to start labor and it started around 11am. When the contractions started to hurt they gave me an epidural it was wonderful! Finally time to push and I could not feel a thing. After having to cut me and using forceps to get my angel out she was born at 11:40pm June 30th. She was the most perfectly beautiful miracle I had ever laid my eyes on.
Today she is 9 years old and still my perfectly beautiful angel. She is sensitive, caring, loving, and can also be moody & sometimesey like her dad, as I call it. She is a wonderful artist and is very talented in that area.
